Piero Pirri's journey in the world of hairstyling began in the late 1980s in Europe, where he cultivated his passion and expertise. Relocating to New York City, Piero embarked on a career in the bustling uptown area of Manhattan, working in various salons and encountering a diverse array of clients and fellow hairdressers. It was during this time that Piero's talent flourished, shaped by influential mentors such as Vince Nardi from the esteemed Nardi Salon. Piero's dedication to his craft and his commitment to pushing boundaries in hairstyling led him to establish Pirri Hair Studio in Greenwich, CT, alongside his brother in the early 1990s. From its inception, Pirri Hair Studio attracted a prestigious clientele, including celebrities like Diana Ross, Regis Philbin, and Paula Zahn.
As a master stylist and co-owner at Pirri Hair Studio in Greenwich, my journey in the beauty industry began in my hometown of Cosenza, Calabria. Starting at the age of 12, I immersed myself in the craft, working in local salons and barber shops, gradually honing my skills and fueling my passion for hairstyling. Upon coming to America, I seized the opportunity to pursue my dreams, working in salons in NYC and eventually founding Pirri Hair Studio in 1992. Over the years, I've continued to evolve and innovate, traveling to Europe for inspiration and sharing my knowledge with my staff. My dedication to the beauty industry fuels my dream of elevating our salon to the pinnacle of excellence.
As a second generation hair stylist/colorist with over 30 years of experience behind the chair and 13 years in business management/ownership. I am passionate about educating my community as a National Artist for Aloxxi International. I continually attend educational classes and seminars to grow personally and professionally. I enjoy bringing new ideas and innovations back to the salon and researching diligently for the newest and greatest developments to stay ahead of the ever growing beauty industry.
